Seydanur Simsek Sevmez is a Turkish-qualified lawyer, mediator, and legal researcher specializing in international commercial law, dispute resolution, and cross-border legal transactions. She holds an LL.M. in International Commercial Law from the University of Sussex, with a focus on international arbitration and investment law.

She is the founder and Managing Lawyer of Başkent Hukuk, where she advises domestic and international clients on commercial disputes, contract negotiations, and corporate compliance matters. She is also registered with the Turkish Ministry of Justice as a Mediator and Concordat Commissioner.

Her academic work focuses on the intersection of international arbitration, legal governance, and artificial intelligence in dispute resolution.
